Project funder visits IMPALA team in Malawi

A team representing IMPALA’s funder – the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) – visited project partners in April.

The EDCTP’s Head of the Africa Office, Dr Thomas Nyirenda, Financial Officer Mary Jane Coloma-Egelink, and Senior Project Officer Dr Montserrat Blázquez Domingo travelled to Malawi to conduct a technical and financial assessment.

At the premises of the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Training and Research Unit of Excellence (TRUE), and Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), the IMPALA consortium members presented the status of the project, highlighting key activities, achievements, and challenges.
